Lacoste 80th Anniversary

Lacoste 80th Anniversary
In celebration of reaching the grand old age of 80, Lacoste have gone back to their well heeled sporting roots and have released a collection of footwear in homage to the original designs created by the man himself, Rene Lacoste.
By basing new designs on the brands original tennis shoes, the footwear has been reinterpreted utilising the original blueprint first created in 1963. The collection is comprised of three styles that artfully borrow from the pioneering heritage of those first off the production line.
Here at TSK we’re fond of the ‘Rene Lacoste OG’ – a shoe that encapsulates the simplistic aesthetic of the herringbone classics. The canvas on this model has been redesigned to echo this distinctive style, and the reissue gives those young enough to have missed out the first time around to invest in a piece of sartorial history.
The other styles ‘Rene Crafted Perf’ and the ‘Rene Crafted’ offer chic alternatives in embossed black leather and panelled canvas that are comfortable, wearable and nicely complete the celebrations for this iconic brand.
