To call the Maison Martin Margiela x Casio G-Shock GA-300MM-8AER Watch “popular” is an understatement. And its launch over the weekend was anything but ordinary. As a nod to G-Shock’s 30th Anniversary this year, Casio made 3000 units of the silvery collab for worldwide distribution. Yet they were gone from most European retailers in a matter of minutes. The watch was near impossible to get in the US while some Japanese boutiques facilitated lottery systems to alleviate the demands. But thanks to Internet forums and a few enterprising G-Shock fans, we found a small trove of the timepiece at London’sSELFRIDGES department store. Available now, while supplies last, at SELFRIDGES Oxford Street flagship or through its online store.
